Location: This position will be remotely based, with the ideal candidate based in the US East Coast, but we will consider all candidates based between San Francisco and Moscow timezones.

Role


This position is for a Developer Advocate reporting directly to source{d} VP of Marketing who is based in San Francisco and is also responsible for Developer Relations. Be prepared to wear many hats!



  • You will be expected to have previous experience in Developer Relations: technical writing (blog posts, tutorials, hands-on labs, etc), documentation, technical presentations on stage, and participation in forums (such as StackOverflow)

  • A significant amount of time you will be trying out source{d} products and writing about them in both blog posts and technical documentation. You’ll need to find defects or possible improvements and report them to the product and engineering team.

  • In addition to communication skills, you are also a developer at heart, with experience in basic data retrieval (SQL) and visualization (Python + graph tooling).

  • You’ll be responsible for managing communication within the developer community as well as with prospects and customers.

  • You will also be planning and participating in technical events, leading technical enterprise workshops and giving talks at developer conferences.
