HYPR Director of Product Management

About the Role and Team:

HYPR is The Passwordless Company for a reason. The team is focused on one seemingly simple problem: making a safer, more user friendly world free from passwords. Our teams work in unison on use cases covering workforce access and strong customer authentication. The solution is deployed to tens of millions of end users and is beloved by IT teams looking to deploy user authentication and eliminate the fears of centralized credential storage. Customers use HYPR for desktop MFA, web SSO & VPN login, mobile app access & payment authentication and much more. 

As Director of Product Management, you'll be responsible for organizing, building, listening and execution on the vision of True Passwordless Security. You'll work closely with customers, stakeholders including field engineering, sales, as well as our application and delivery teams. You'll be personally spearheading the growth of the product team and leading from the front guiding other product managers on the journey as well as an engineering feature team focused on scaling the solution to the next 500 customers.

Our ideal Director of Product has led technical products or large-scale platforms for enterprise clients, is strongly process oriented down to the detail of an end-to-end journey, and is well versed to communicate concepts and drive engagement for all stakeholders. You will bring strong process and foundations while maintaining an agile flow that isn't built with gates and barriers to success.

In this role you are trusted with the most mission-critical of all services - authentication. 

At HYPR, product managers build and focus on a wide range of end user personas, ranging from mobile app consumers, workforce access professionals, IT administrators, product managers and business leaders. Product development is a collaborative effort between Product design, engineering and customer-facing teams. Feature teams work in close cohesion along a release train model with rapid development, freedom of innovation and implementation design, and trust in one another.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of direct product management experience along with prior roles leading to your current success.


• Experience at one or more startups having seen growth through various stages of size.


• Experience developing and launching products within Cloud, SaaS, enterprise is a must. 


• BA/BS degree or higher. 


• Domain knowledge is a plus but not required (Cybersecurity, IAM).


• Not limited to New York Metro Area. Remote candidates in the United States may apply.
