Location: Remote anywhere in the US


As a DevOps Engineer at Electriphi, you will be part of the team that is responsible for scaling and securing our award-winning solution for public and private electric vehicle fleets. We are an agile and tight-knit team that is building complex, breakthrough solutions and aggressively leading the charge in fleet and energy management solutions. As a member of the Telematics team you will work with other Engineers and leadership to produce mission-critical infrastructure, tools, and processes that will ensure highest levels of availability and reliability of all our services.


Electriphi was acquired last month by Ford Motor Company, however we are still very much operating as our own independent company in many ways.


What you will be doing:



  • Build and maintain AWS and Kubernetes environments

  • Design and implement continuous integration and deployment platforms

  • Focus on automation and improvements to our infrastructure

  • Implement highly observable systems


Requirements:



  • Full-stack mentality, with a desire to learn and contribute across teams

  • 3+ years of experience working in a DevOps or SRE focused role

  • 3+ years of experience deploying to AWS

  • 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes (preferred) or Docker

  • Ability to take functional codebases and productionize them while working closely with team members


Bonus points for:



  • Experience with Terraform or Spinnaker

  • Experience working on distributed systems which incorporate edge devices

  • Experience with Chaos Monkey
