Ryan Business and Technology Solutions, LLC Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA analyst to join our software development team. Responsibilities and requirements include:
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute test plans for features in active development
• Work closely with Product Management to understand and vet acceptance criteria
• Work closely with Development to understand the scope of a given feature and ensure that all acceptance, regression, and negative test cases are thought through and documented
• Handle the majority of hands-on manual testing required for all stories, features and bug-fixes
• Assist in test automation and help document test cases that can be translated into automated tests
• Work closely with Customer Support to vet and understand customer-facing issues
• Participate in development agile meetings to share ideas and propose solutions
Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of QA testing best practices and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of writing test plans and test cases
• Prior experience in test automation (Selenium or similar test automation framework)
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver timely results
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Superior attention to details
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and a logic-based approach to problem solving
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and assignments

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• SQL knowledge
