BriteCore is seeking to hire a UI Designer to lead the visual design of components going into our company-wide design system. BriteCore is a cloud-based platform used by insurance companies to manage all aspects of their business. We are in the process of rewriting key pieces of our app as standalone products, and these products share a unified design system.

Currently, our team is heavily weighted towards UX design & research experience, so we are looking for a UI Designer who can complement these strengths and help us improve the User Interface of our shared components. Although this position emphasizes UI design skills, we are still looking for someone who is keenly interested in understanding our users and delivering extremely usable user interfaces that will empower them to get their work done more quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Create aesthetically pleasing, on brand UIs for new or existing components in our design system
Review and propose changes to our design system, based on input from other product teams
Maintain and update our Figma version of the live design system, so that it can be leveraged by our UX designers
Work with UX designers and researchers to test changes to our design system
Audit design system for consistency, and help advise individual product teams on correct component usage
Leverage industry best practices for usability and accessibility in design work
