Designer - bootstrapped and profitable

The biggest internet product innovations were made possible through the marriage of new technology with excellent design. If the product designers didn't have an innate understanding of the underlying technologies, they wouldn't have been able to see the future like they did.

Because of this world view, we are seeking a designer who values their craft enough to learn the aesthetic parts of it, and master the underlying technologies.

We aren't really looking for "web designers" or a "product designers". Just Designers. We are looking for someone who can do it all. Because why not.

Actually, we're looking to hire a few designers that meet the above description. Although we currently have little to show to back this up currently, in our core, we know that our company is meant to be a design first company.
