Genies Inc QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to create our Community, a digital space that will enable authentic expression and friendship through avatars. The ideal candidate has experience in both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation, integration/end-to-end, regression, performance, and release testing of Genies products


• Use manual and automation test techniques to identify and write detailed bug reports


• Write and execute test cases


• Thoroughly investigate found issues across both iOS and Android


• Write, edit, run, and analyze unit tests in Visual Studio and Unity


• Write and run test scripts in AWS Device Farm


• Communicate and work with multiple teams

Qualifications 

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience


• 3+ years professional QA experience


• Mobile app/game testing experience


• Manual and automation experience


• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile Software Methodology (Scrum)


• Understanding of Jira, and how to write test cases, detailed bug reports, and regression testing


• C#, Java, or Python experience


• Experience with the Unity game engine


• Performance testing experience


• Experience with AWS Device Farm


• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices


• Experience with API testing


• Appium or Cucumber experience


• Experience with network testing and client/server interaction


• Experience with Amazon Web Services


• Strong attention to detail skills


• Self-starter, analytical, creative, highly motivated with a visionary spirit


• Understanding of version control software such as Git

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing developer-facing product (SDK)


• Understanding of 3D art and animation
